Impact of Philanthropy: 2024 by the Numbers

Committed to supporting rural health and wellness

In total, our SSM Health St. Clare Foundation provided $275,700 in support of our hospitals and community to help provide quality health care close to home.

  • $186,528 in equipment for SSM Health St. Clare Hospital and $33,640 to SSM Health St. Clare Meadows Care Center
  • Committed a $50,000 grant to the City of Baraboo to save the Shared Ride Taxi Service
  • $7,500 in hygiene items for food pantries in Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells
  • $21,400 in Healthy Community Partnership Grants to 18 area nonprofits
  • $13,500 gifted to employees as loan forgiveness or tuition reimbursement scholarships
  • 425 3rd graders in 6-week Fun ‘n Fit program to promote health habits in Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells
  • $12,000 raised by the Spirit of Giving Circle members to purchase four department equipment requests
  • $15,800 raised by employees for hospital equipment needs
